OUR PURPOSE:

Green Prosperity,

Powered by Women

At azoki, we celebrate migration as a critical force in poverty reduction. Remittances from overseas workers are transforming the potential of entire communities—financing education, underwriting healthcare, & securing the welfare of much-loved families. Migrants are today’s global heroes, but they can still do more. While many go abroad to earn, too few return with a plan to build. azoki aims to change that. Migration can & should enable not only economic growth but also what we describe as green prosperity: a regenerative economy that celebrates caring, sharing, & the well-being of all life forms.

To seize this potential & make it real, azoki is helping migrant women grow their confidence & capabilities as entrepreneurs. We’re helping them design, launch, & grow the small, circular businesses that will lift families, restore ecosystems, & transform communities back home. azoki believes that lower-income countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, & Kenya can leapfrog the stumbling blocks of industrial development. We believe with the right type of entrepreneurship, growth can be both clean & healthy. Green prosperity is possible.

We’re working to make it real now.

OUR PILLARS

We are celebrating migrant women workers’ hard work ethics and contribution to their native country’s prosperity and the world’s.

PRIDE

PRODUCTIVITY

We are growing our individual & collective capabilities through financial & business education.

We are turning today’s work & investment into tomorrow’s opportunity through regenerative micro-franchises.

PROSPERITY

CELEBRATING

PRIDE

At azoki, we are centering and honoring the migrant women from the Global South. These women should be proud of their hard work and legacies of uplifting not only their native countries, but also the places they so diligently provide their skills and labor to.

Did you know?

  • According to research from UN Women, despite the fact that female migrant workers generally earn less than their male counterparts, they often send an equal or greater amount of money back home.

  • According to Migration Data Portal, in 2023, an estimate of 656 billion dollars made up remittances to low- and middle-income countries. While there is no available data that is gender specific, based on the information above and the fact that women make up around 50% of global migrant workers, we can conclude that the majority of this total was generated by women.

  • A 2017 research study by UN Women also showed that remittances from women are more likely to be used on the well-being of people, i.e. health, education, and community development.

ENHANCING

PRODUCTIVITY

At azoki, we believe in education because to be well-educated is to be empowered. By offering our members learning modules focused on savings, skills, voice & vision, we are helping them realise the confidence & capability necessary to become successful business owners & transformative community leaders.

Each course helps migrant women take the practical steps towards becoming productive entrepreneurs. We’re providing a mini-MBA covering money management, operations, marketing, strategy, people management, & ethics. We believe that these learning modules will help our members shape futures with purpose, pride, & clarity.

CREATING

At azoki, we help women turn ideas into enterprises that support both livelihoods & the planet. Our micro-franchises are small, circular businesses. They extend from beekeeping to textile up-cycling. Each franchise blends environmental care with income generation, proving that productivity & regeneration can grow hand in hand.

PROSPERITY

WHAT MAKES AZOKI DIFFERENT?

At azoki, most businesses start small—a woman selling fruit at the market, or stitching clothes at home. But we don’t expect her to do it all alone. That’s why azoki micro-franchises are designed as networks that are supported by shared tools, training, & community.

Our model is:

  • Simple & sustainable — low-waste, low-cost, & rooted in local culture

  • Collective — shared souring, branding, mentorship, & savings tools

  • Flexible — built to fit caregiving, migration & life’s unpredictability

  • Regenerative — aiming not just to reduce harm, but to restore & uplift

The azoki living futures incubator is about building the entrepreneurs & the businesses that nurture confident teams, strong families, & engaged, supportive communities.
